Learning Environments

At Lee Stream School, we’re incredibly proud of our learning spaces, designed to inspire and engage every ākonga (student). Our facilities provide room for learning, play, and connection—all within a welcoming, inclusive environment.

Classrooms

We have two large, flexible classrooms. Our main learning space features a breakout room, ideal for small group activities or quiet study, and connects to our well-equipped kitchen and digital tech area, where students can get hands-on with a variety of projects.

Our second classroom is a special place for the youngest tamariki (children) in our community. Every Thursday, local preschoolers gather here for a fun-filled music session, introducing them to the joy of learning and making them feel at home in our school.

Outdoor Spaces

Outside, our students enjoy fantastic play areas. We have a spacious playground, an asphalt court, and a large rugby field—perfect for games, sports, and outdoor learning. Plus, there’s plenty of space in between for free play, exploration, and connecting with friends.

Our learning environments at LSS reflect our values and commitment to providing an inspiring and inclusive space where every ākonga can thrive. We may be a small school, but we offer big opportunities, and we’re proud to support our students’ growth and wellbeing.
